Lúnasa is one of the four major Celtic seasonal festivals, celebrated on August 1st. Named after the god Lugh, it marks the beginning of the harvest season. Traditions include climbing hills, picking bilberries, and community gatherings. The modern Puck Fair in Killorglin preserves many Lúnasa traditions.
